In the heart of Los Angeles, where ambition meets hustle and hard work writes its own stories, Tony Eclarin quietly laid the foundation for something remarkable. What began as a one-man operation without a facility — just pure grit, heart, and vision — would grow into BOSS: Business Outfitter Solutions and Services, a company that once outfitted thousands of professionals for top organizations like ABM, Allied Universal (formerly Allied Barton), CBRE, RISING, Securitas, and private security firms across Southern California.
Tony didn’t begin with a warehouse or staff. In fact, he started BOSS without even owning a plant. Late at night, while others rested, Tony was hard at work in his home — organizing, sorting, and preparing uniforms. He secured a deal with a trusted partner who handled the pressing of the garments, someone he relied on with full confidence. It was a lean, late-night grind — but it worked because Tony made it work.
From Steam at Home to Strategy in Motion
Tony had always had an appreciation for sharp suits and clean lines. Tailoring wasn’t just a service — it was an art form. Having studied marketing, he understood image and presentation better than most. Uniforms weren’t just attire to him — they were an extension of a company’s identity. With that philosophy, he began pitching his services to industry directors and decision-makers. And slowly, doors began to open.
He forged strong relationships across industries, leveraging both his insight and authenticity. These weren’t just cold business deals — they were partnerships built on trust, delivery, and consistency.
Built from Scratch. Backed by People.
BOSS expanded, eventually reaching over 80,000 pieces of uniform inventory and employing 25 team members — including drivers, pressers, washers, tailors, customer service reps, and back-office staff in billing and accounting. But no matter how large the business grew, Tony stayed hands-on. He oversaw every role, ensuring that his team had the tools, support, and respect they needed to thrive.
He wasn’t just a boss — he was the BOSS. He led from the front, worked long hours shoulder to shoulder with his staff, and cultivated a workplace that people genuinely wanted to be part of. Great pay, meaningful work, and a positive environment were standard. But Tony gave more than that — bonuses, thoughtful gifts, kind words, and constant encouragement. His leadership was powered by generosity, humor, and heart.
A Legacy That Lives On
Tony Eclarin helped shape what Procide has become today. Though BOSS no longer operates at the same scale, its spirit — his spirit — is alive in every relationship built, every standard upheld, and every leader inspired by his story.
He proved that you don’t need a massive facility to build a dream. You need vision. You need resilience. You need the kind of heart that finds a way when others find excuses.
Tony didn’t just grow a business — he created a culture of excellence, service, and dignity. He was a man of greatness, someone who made people feel seen, valued, and capable of more.
We remember Tony not just for what he built — but for how he built it. With soul, strength, and sincerity.
He was a true BOSS — and we proudly follow in his footsteps.
